Consultative Search Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in a fast-growing technology and manufacturing company. You will partner with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; Big Four or national firm preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or high-tech environment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with ERP/financial management systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
• Perform general ledger accounting including fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and deferred revenue.
• Conduct balance sheet and income statement analysis; investigate variances.
• Support cost accounting activities including inventory accounting and analysis.
• Collaborate with operations to strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.
• Document and improve internal controls; pursue efficiency and automation.
• Assist with external audits and compliance requests; coordinate with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and participate in special projects.
