Job summary

NanoXplore Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Director of Finance and the site Financial Operations Manager.

The role oversees day-to-day accounting, drives month-end close and forecasting, and delivers IFRS-compliant financial reporting while safeguarding internal controls. You will translate financial performance into actionable insights for operations, partnering to improve current performance and future results across the site.

Qualifications

University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of IFRS and internal-control frameworks for a public company.
Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with an integrated ERP / manufacturing accounting system.
Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate monthly financial statements in IFRS and company policies.
Own the month-end close: review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
Analyze results vs budget/forecast with variance commentary for leadership.
Deliver corporate reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.
Coordinate annual site budget and rolling forecasts with department heads.
Lead physical inventory counts and fixed-asset records management.
Maintain internal controls and support audits and compliance activities.
Partner with Operations to drive continuous improvement of finance processes.
