Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong A/R and A/P experience.
• Experience with account and bank reconciliations.
• Month-end closing experience.
• Fixed assets and depreciation experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• JobBOSS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current financial records.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• Process vendor invoices and payments.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Monitor and maintain company and departmental budgets.
• Identify and explain significant budget variances.
• Perform job costing and production cost analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and accounting documentation.
• Support tax reporting and compliance activities.
• Work with the company's CPA as needed.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for financial transactions.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Handle confidential financial and employee information.
• Communicate with management, employees, customers, vendors, financial institutions, and outside accounting professionals.
