Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 4 years of accounting experience, including hands-on financial statement preparation.
• Experience with month-end close.
• Experience preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with accurate journal entries.
• Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Compile and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for management review.
• Compare budget vs. actual figures and explain variances to management.
• Prepare, review, and file state and local sales and use tax returns for all active US jurisdictions.
• Review and maintain customer exemption and resale certificates and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Streamline processes and optimize ERP or accounting systems to increase efficiency.
• Assist the Controller with additional departmental tasks as needed.
