Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant for a direct hire on-site role. The position requires deep cost analysis, inventory accounting, and close collaboration with manufacturing teams.

You will lead month-end closes, perform GL reconciliations, forecast, and support audits, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, and ERP/SAP experience, along with strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Minimum 5 years’ manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with inventory management and product costing.
• SAP or ERP system experience preferred.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office skills.
• Strong detail orientation and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and timely reporting.

• Prepare cost analysis and financial reports timely and accurately
• Conduct detailed inventory account analysis
• Maintain cost accounting for materials and analyze manufacturing costs
• Perform GL account reconciliations
• Manage month end closing activities
• Review cost center expenses and maintain records of receipts and disbursements
• Participate in audits
• Assist with annual and monthly forecasting
• Post journal entries and inventory adjustments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and product costing
• SAP or ERP systems experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness of analysis reports and complete work in timely manner
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office suite skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000.
