Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant for a direct hire on-site role. The position requires deep cost analysis, inventory accounting, and close collaboration with manufacturing teams.

You will lead month-end closes, perform GL reconciliations, forecast, and support audits, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, and ERP/SAP experience, along with strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Minimum 5 years’ manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with inventory management and product costing.
• SAP or ERP system experience preferred.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office skills.
• Strong detail orientation and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost analyses and timely financial reports.
• Conduct detailed inventory account analysis.
• Maintain cost accounting for materials and analyze manufacturing costs.
• Perform GL account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end closing activities.
• Review cost center expenses and maintain receipts/disbursements.
• Participate in audits.
• Assist with monthly and annual forecasting.
• Post journal entries and inventory adjustments.
