Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established and growing company in Phoenix to hire a Senior Accountant. The role requires ownership of key accounting functions, independent work ethic, and partnership with leaders across the business.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, proactive, and able to improve processes while mentoring junior staff in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of senior-level accounting experience.
ASC 606 revenue accounting experience.
Experience with M&A, purchase accounting, consolidations, or multi-entity accounting.

Responsibilities

Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.
Support revenue recognition and accounting under ASC 606.
Assist with M&A, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration.
Perform consolidations across multiple entities, locations, or business units.
Support external audits and respond to auditor requests.
Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Participate in special projects and strategic accounting initiatives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting team members.
