Job summary

Nutrabolt, a global active health and wellness company, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage lease accounting under ASC 842, fixed asset accounting, and financial close support. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations, while supporting SOX controls and audits.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and strong US GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP and ASC 842 knowledge.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting.
• Experience supporting audits and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage ASC 842 lease accounting, including schedules, ROU assets, liabilities, modifications and terminations.
• Prepare monthly lease accounting journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Procurement, Legal, Operations, and Finance on lease arrangements and capital expenditures.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger and oversee capitalization, depreciation, impairment, transfers and disposals.
• Review capital expenditures and ensure capitalization policy compliance.
• Prepare reconciliations for fixed assets, accumulated depreciation, lease assets and lease liabilities.
• Support month-end close and general ledger accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX control execution.
• Perform technical accounting research related to leases and fixed assets.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
