Job summary

RPMGlobal is hiring a Senior Accountant responsible for accurate monthly close, general ledger maintenance, and timely financial reporting for CableCom and Midwest Fiber Networks.

You will prepare journal entries, manage reconciliations, support budgeting and forecasting, and oversee accounts payable/receivable processes while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead components of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy per GAAP and policies.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable processes and vendor management.
• Support accounts receivable activities and collections.
