Pacific Service Credit Union is seeking a Senior Accountant in Concord, CA. This role supports the monthly close, regulatory reporting, and accounting analyses to ensure accurate financial statements.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for timely, compliant reporting. The position requires a minimum of four years of accounting experience, with preference for CPA/CMA progress and advanced Excel capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and data analysis.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and internal controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including complex items.
• Research accounting issues and determine proper treatment under GAAP.
• Maintain detailed reconciliations for assigned GL accounts.
• Assist with monthly close and financial statements preparation.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, and system projects.
