Spring Education Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team, owning month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis with strong GAAP discipline. This hybrid role requires mentoring Staff Accountants, overseeing journal entries in NetSuite, and supporting budgeting and internal controls across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring five years of GL or public accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and a track record of process improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of five years of general ledger or public accounting experience.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of GAAP.
• Working knowledge of general ledger and feeder systems, with the ability to use reporting tools to compile, analyze, and interpret data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, and filters.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly and annual close processes in line with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Prepare and review journal entries in NetSuite.
• Prepare and review complex reconciliations (cash, fixed assets, revenue, payroll, and leases).
• Support daily cash application and reconciliation workflows.
• Assist Accounting Manager with budget preparation.
• Analyze account fluctuations and provide explanations to leadership.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for departments.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Support AI/automation initiatives to enhance operations.
• Coordinate year-end audit and provide documentation.
