Job summary

Onnit is an Austin, Texas-based health and wellness company seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team reporting to the Controller. You will support month-end close, reconciliations, weekly payment runs, payroll processing, and account analysis, while supervising the work of accounting staff and the AP coordinator and contributing to ad-hoc projects.

Success in this fast-paced environment requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with NetSuite and GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable operations and vendor maintenance.
• Lead the day-to-day Concur employee expense process and reimbursements.
• Support the monthly close, journals, reconciliations, and financial estimates.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies (GAAP/IFRS).
• Review payroll processed by 3rd-party provider and manage payroll accruals.
• Support regulatory compliance and audits; mentor staff.
