Job summary

Johnson Health Tech North America Inc is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the accounting staff, set priorities with the Controller, review journal entries, reconciliations, and keep the monthly close on schedule in a hands-on leadership role.

This position requires a Bachelor’s in accounting (CPA preferred), five years of progressive accounting experience, SAP and Excel proficiency, and oversight of inventory, fixed assets, rebates, sales tax, and period-close controls.

Qualifications

• Five+ years progressive accounting experience with GL reconciliations and month-end close.
• Experience coaching accounting staff and reviewing others' work.
• Experience with inventory, fixed assets, rebates, sales tax, or operations in a complex company; SAP and Excel proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting staff; set priorities and supervise daily/monthly tasks.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and recurring reports for accuracy.
• Coach staff on processes, variance analysis, and documentation standards.
• Manage monthly close calendar and support financial reporting and audits.
• Oversee fixed assets, inventory, rebates, sales tax, and related reconciliations.
