Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a personal injury law firm.
• Strong understanding of attorney trust accounting and settlement transactions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficient with NetSuite and Litify are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile attorney trust (IOLTA) accounts.
• Review settlement activity for compliance with firm policies and trust accounting regulations.
• Monitor trust balances and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
• Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Assist with external audits and tax support requests.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Legal, and Executive Leadership on accounting issues.
