Job summary

Sungrow Power Supply Co. Ltd seeks a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience to support inventory and cost accounting across a fast-paced, cross-functional operation.

You will ensure accurate valuation, reconciliations, and insightful financial reporting for supply chain, warehouse, and procurement teams. The role emphasizes strengthening internal controls, improving processes, and delivering actionable insights to drive operational efficiency and business growth in a hybrid Houston

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, renewable energy, or project-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, including inventory management and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Mandarin speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records and valuation in SAP and the general ledger.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and assist with cycle counts.
• Review inventory adjustments, transfers, write-offs, reserves, and aging.
• Monitor turnover, carrying costs, and obsolete inventory; provide recommendations.
• Analyze inventory-related costs and COGS, including freight and warehousing.
• Perform GR/IR reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and variance analysis.
• Prepare inventory, cost, and operational reporting for management.
