Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant with 5+ years of relevant experience to support its expanding operations. The role focuses on inventory and cost accounting, including valuation, reconciliations, and financial reporting, collaborating with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong US GAAP knowledge, experience with SAP, and a proven ability to analyze costs and variances.

Qualifications

• US GAAP knowledge and revenue recognition experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records and valuation in SAP and GL.
• Perform inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
• Review inventory adjustments, transfers, write-offs, reserves, and aging.
• Monitor turnover, carrying costs and obsolete inventory; analyze related costs.
• Perform GR/IR reconciliations and resolve invoicing issues with cross-functional teams.
• Support month-end/year-end close activities and variance analysis.
• Prepare inventory, cost, and operational reporting for management.
• Assist tariff-related accounting and cost impact analysis.
• Support internal controls and drive process improvements in inventory and cost accounting.
