Ghost Robotics is seeking a Senior Accountant to be the backbone of our finance function as we mature our controls and processes. You will own the day-to-day accounting cycle, partner with the Controller on month-end close, and drive improvements in inventory, AP, and multi-state sales tax workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, hardware, SaaS, or inventory-heavy business.
• Own month-end close, AP, and inventory accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Experience with multi-state sales and payroll tax filings.
• Able to improve processes and automate workflows.
• Collaboration across operations, procurement, and vendors to maintain accounting rigor.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned areas of the monthly close, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage and optimize end-to-end AP, invoice processing and payments, three‑way matches
• Prepare multi-state sales tax, payroll tax, and other indirect tax filings
• Maintain vendor master data and 1099 compliance
• Document accounting policies and SOPs; support audits and internal controls
• Assist in ERP system usage and process improvements
