Job summary

Lendable Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the management accounts and controllership function. This hands-on role delivers monthly close for UK group companies and supports automation of financial processes across the UK, US and Mexico.

You will work with high-volume data and partner with finance to drive commercial insights. The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA and UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, with US GAAP exposure considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 0-2 years PQE.
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Exposure to US GAAP is beneficial given the group's US operations.
• Strong Excel skills for high-volume ledger and reconciliation work.
• Meticulous and deadline-driven in a fast-paced, high-transaction-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly close for the UK group companies, accurately and within set timelines.
• Partner with the wider finance team and business stakeholders to prepare product-level P&Ls that support commercial decision-making, help with queries and month-end inputs.
• Taking ownership of, and automating, balance sheet reconciliations Month on Month, while investigating variances and unusual data trends.
• Assist with consolidation including balance sheet, P&L and cash flow preparation.
• Work with high volumes of data from different sources and consolidate for month-end reports.
• Support continuous improvement of financial controls and policies.
