firstPRO, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to deliver high-level financial and analytical support across key business units in a hybrid role. You will drive financial strategy, strengthen internal controls, and partner with leadership in a mission-driven environment.

3 days in office, 2 days from home, with generous bonuses and health coverage as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting background preferred).
• CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end close for assigned business units, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Review and validate the work of accounting staff to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Analyze domestic and international operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Present monthly financial results and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting issues while recommending and implementing process improvements.
• Strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Prepare detailed management reports, regulatory filings, and audit documentation.
• Partner with external auditors during annual audits.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training as needed.
• Support special projects and ad hoc assignments.

Educación
