Job summary

Moatable, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team and strengthen our financial close process. You will ensure accurate general ledger close, financial reporting, and intercompany accounting while supporting audits and internal controls.

The position starts in-office five days a week during onboarding and shifts to a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week. You will report to the Controller at our Phoenix headquarters and work standard US hours,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 3 to 5 years previous accounting/audit experience in public or private accounting.
• Strong reporting and data querying capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience.
• Ability to handle multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
• Detail oriented with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close including reconciliations and schedules.
• Analyze issues and propose solutions.
• Develop ad hoc analyses for monthly close.
• Prepare monthly and annual reporting.
• Perform consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Process treasury activities and intercompany transfers.
• Maintain prepaid expenses, deposits, fixed assets balances.
• Ensure compliance with policies and GAAP.
• Support audits and audits coordination.
• Document internal control environment.
