A leading financial consultancy is looking for a Senior Accountant in Phoenix, AZ to contribute to month-end close processes and provide support in financial statements preparation. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred, and experience in a similar role. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Commitment to the duration and needs of the project.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to month-end close processes.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Provide support during preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and irregularities.
• Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Skills

Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

Proficient in Excel

Experience with ERP software

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA Preferred
