Mimecast in Lexington, MA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the North America accounting team. You will own monthly and quarterly close, and support internal and external reporting, including debt, leases, accruals, and core balance sheet and P&L accounts.

The role is hybrid in our Lexington office, reports to the Accounting Manager, and offers exposure to a global tech business along with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting; CPA desirable.
• 5+ years of related accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred; FloQast, Navan and Xactly a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity.

Responsabilités

• Own month-end close and reporting processes.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support external and internal reporting and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams on cost allocations.
• Assist with audits and strengthen internal controls.
