Job summary

Mimecast Limited in Lexington, MA is seeking a Senior Analyst for Revenue Accounting Operations to own NA revenue flux, manage deferred revenue, and post revenue entries. You will collaborate with Sales, Channel, Licensing & Renewals, and Collections to ensure accurate revenue recognition under US GAAP ASC 606.

The role requires 4+ years in revenue accounting, strong Excel, and ERP/CRM experience (NetSuite/Salesforce). A hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in revenue accounting for SaaS/subscription models.
• Hands-on experience with revenue journal entries, deferred revenue, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the North America revenue flux analysis, investigate variances, and communicate results to Revenue leadership.
• Lead the monthly deferred revenue process with roll-forwards, reconciliations, and balance analysis.
• Prepare, review, and post revenue journal entries with supporting documentation per US GAAP ASC 606.
