Job summary

O2C Brands is seeking a Senior Accountant to support general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting from our Chicago headquarters with a hybrid schedule. The role includes AP/AR support and collaboration across Finance, Operations, HR, and Procurement.

Ideal candidates will have strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and experience with Dynamics or other ERP systems to improve workflows and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience improving accounting workflows and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile assigned balance sheet and control accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules (fixed assets, prepaid, accrued expenses).
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Support the preparation of financial reporting packages.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, AP/AR, HR, Procurement, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting.
