Tate Computer Systems, Inc. (Itonyx) seeks a highly organized Senior Accountant to lead core accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and close, while owning government-contract sales finance.

The role blends hands-on accounting with process ownership, ERP maintenance, and audit-ready documentation aligned to ISO 9001; proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is essential, with 5+ years of progressive experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations (GL, AP/AR, reconcilations, close).
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel; comfortable with ERP and spreadsheet-based analysis.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; CPA/CMA not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close; prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Own AP/AR, bank and GL reconciliations; maintain clean, accurate financial records.
• Implement SOPs and support ERP maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Monitor the accounting inbox and leverage QuickBooks/Excel for efficient workflows.
