Job summary

Entrust in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Finance team and support month-end and year-end close, financial and management reporting, and statutory accounts across UK and multi-entity operations.

You will lead international audits, coordinate with auditors and tax advisors, ensure compliance with UK GAAP/FRS102, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls in a fast-growing, global technology company.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA).
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP/FRS102.
• Experience producing or auditing statutory accounts.
• Audit experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Clear and effective communicator, verbal and written.
• Interest in technical accounting topics and changes.
• Stakeholder management and relationship building across levels.
• Organised with attention to detail and proactivity.

Responsibilities

• Financial and Management Reporting: assist with month-end and year-end close, maintain accurate records and provide analyses.
• Audit coordination: lead international subsidiary audits and liaise with auditors and local advisors.
• Compliance: ensure regulatory compliance including tax filings and VAT where applicable.
• Documentation: maintain accounting memos and policies, update team on statutory changes.
• Process improvement: enhance efficiency and implement audit recommendations.
• Team Leadership: mentor junior accounting staff and foster a collaborative environment.
