Job summary

Pentagon Technologies Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the general ledger, manage month-end close, and prepare detailed reconciliations across assets, liabilities, and intercompany accounts.

The role requires strong US GAAP knowledge and ERP experience in a manufacturing/semiconductor context. Responsibilities include journal entries in Axapta, bank and payroll reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany consolidations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle month-end close.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP: fixed assets and capitalization (ASC 360), prepaids, accruals, revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842).
• Experience reconciling high-volume bank accounts, including batched receipts and zero-balance account structures.
• Experience booking payroll journal entries from a payroll provider report.
• Advanced Excel: Tables, PivotTables, SUMIFS, and XLOOKUP; able to build schedules that refresh from source data.
• Multi-entity and foreign-currency experience (EUR, ILS) includes intercompany eliminations and consolidation.
• Manufacturing or semiconductor services industry background.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger and month-end close processes.
• Prepare, support, and post recurring and adjusting journal entries in Axapta (Dynamics AX).
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and roll-forwards.
• Reconcile monthly bank accounts and match batched receipts and wire transactions.
• Reconcile payroll cash and reimbursements; post weekly bank settlements.
• Prepare AR aging summary and intercompany eliminations.
• Prepare monthly accrued liabilities by cost center and GL account.
• Maintain fixed asset register and CIP, depreciation, and disposals.
• Review revenue recognition and ASC 606 cut-offs; maintain deferred revenue schedules.
• Support audit schedules and maintain internal controls over journal entries.
