Job summary

GPC is seeking a Manager, Corporate Accounting and Consolidation to oversee the monthly close, intercompany, and consolidation processes for Global Industrial. You will partner with HR, Risk, Legal, FP&A, Tax, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.

The role requires CPA, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong Excel skills. This hybrid role is based in Atlanta (work location: ATL/ BHM) with cross-functional leadership and strategic project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
Active CPA (or equivalent certification) required.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Excellent Excel skills for financial modelling.

Responsibilities

Oversee month-end close for HR/Benefits, Risk Management, Legal, and Treasury functions, including accruals and reserve adjustments.
Supervise intercompany process and intercompany allocations.
Consolidation: lead monthly global consolidation, ensure accurate eliminations and U.S. GAAP compliance.
Advise FP&A on forecast and budget for HR/Benefits, Risk Management, Legal, and Treasury functions.
Lead SOX compliance controls related to consolidation processes and audit readiness.
