Job summary

Therakos Healthcare Limited seeks a Senior Accountant to partner with the Controller and Assistant Controller, driving accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP while supporting audit and tax activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and NetSuite/advanced Excel proficiency. Pharma/med device exposure is preferred in this carve-out context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive experience in accounting, including financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Complete assigned month-end and year-end close responsibilities, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Prepare schedules for balance sheet accounts and provide variance analysis.
• Oversee daily accounting functions and general ledger entries.
• Assist in external audit preparation and liaise with auditors during the annual audit.
• Assist in managing tax filings, including sales tax and other relevant tax matters.
• Design, document, and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
