Job summary

Nautilus Biotechnology seeks a Senior Accountant to uphold the integrity of financial records, manage a controlled month-end close, and oversee accounts payable. This highly visible role reports to the Associate Director of Accounting and partners with cross-functional teams and offshore personnel.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, and familiarity with NetSuite in a SOX-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on general ledger and month-end close.
• CPA or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly close, prepare journal entries for accruals and prepaids.
• Prepare reconciliations and resolve reconciling items monthly.
• Maintain SOX 404 controls and document controls and narratives.
• Improve close efficiency and partner with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with audits and coordination with offshore team.
