Job summary

Viya Health seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to own centralized accounting and consolidation, intercompany eliminations, HQ sales accounting, and monthly close. You will coordinate with entity teams, ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies, and drive improvements across the reporting process.

You will prepare management accounts, provide insightful commentary, and support audits. A strong background in IFRS/US GAAP and ERP systems is required; remote-friendly and global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in Accounting or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
• Strong intercompany accounting and reconciliation experience
• Exposure to audit processes
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, Healthcare, Distribution, Manufacturing, or International Trading environment
• Experience with inventory and sales accounting
• Experience working with CIN7 or similar ERP/inventory platforms
• Expert Excel skills and proficient in pivot tables, vlookups, and sumifs formulas
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, mission-driven environment
• able to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS or US GAAP.
• Record intercompany transactions at HQ and manage reconciliations across entities.
• Own the accounting and reporting process for HQ sales activities and revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPI dashboards.
• Support ERP implementation, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Assist with audits and auditor inquiries; maintain supporting schedules.
• Mentor and guide the Accounting Assistant; drive process improvements.
