Job summary

RPM Performance Coatings, a strategic operating unit of RPM International Inc., is seeking a Senior Accountant based in Maple Shade, NJ. This role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual close, prepares journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses while ensuring adherence to U.S.

GAAP and internal controls. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across PCG locations to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in the general ledger.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (LN, Oracle) and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Maintain reconciliations and supporting schedules for financial statements.
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet fluctuations and explain variances.
• Ensure SOX controls and company policy compliance in close activities.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with FP&A and AP to resolve accounting issues.
