RPM Performance Coatings is seeking a General Ledger Lead to direct the general ledger and close processes for Carboline within the PCG North America segment. You will lead the accounting team, ensure accurate monthly and quarterly closes, and drive improvements in controls and reporting.

The role requires strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, supervisory experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners to resolve issues and support business decisions. Travel is occasional.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial close.
• Prior supervisory or accounting management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control concepts.
• Experience leading month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Experience coordinating audits and working with auditors.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot, lookups, data analysis).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close with timely, accurate reporting.
• Serve as primary GL lead for Carboline within PCG North America.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze results and investigate variances with business partners.
• Ensure integrity of the general ledger, close calendars, and controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to requests.
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and shared services to improve reporting.
• Coach and develop GL team and drive process improvement.
• Lead policy changes and system enhancements as needed.
• Occasional travel as required.
