Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance cost principles is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of the general ledger for accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
• Reconcile assigned intercompany accounts and accounts receivables.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and cost report schedules.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and record depreciation.
• Prepare and post monthly closing entries and close-out accrued balances.
• Assist with government grants and audit schedules; support external auditors.
