Job summary

Southern Company Gas seeks an Accounting Supervisor in Atlanta, GA to lead a small team through monthly close, journal entries, and financial reporting in GAAP/SOX-compliant environment. This in-office role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional collaboration within the Comptroller's organization.

Responsibilities include overseeing SOX control documentation, quarterly and annual reports (Form 10-Q/10-K), and support for audits and regulatory reporting.
