Job summary

Berkeley Research Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant for a remote US-based role. The Senior Accountant will support the monthly close, revenue recognition under US GAAP, and GL analyses in a fast-paced health‑tech environment.

You will work with the Accounting Manager and cross‑functional teams to perform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and assist with year‑end audit schedules, while contributing to policy improvements and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or auditing.
• US GAAP knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in healthcare, healthcare data, pharma, etc. a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply US GAAP, ASC 606, to contracts to record revenue.
• Perform GL activity analysis and account reconciliations.
• Prepare special reports and complete projects on request.
• Review department and GL coding for appropriateness.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Assist in variance analysis during period-end close.
• Prepare audit schedules for year-end audit.
• Assist in sales tax return preparation.
• Provide financial information to support tax requests.
• Document and maintain accounting policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and adapt to growth.
