Job summary

CHG Healthcare seeks a Senior Accountant to lead areas of the monthly close, GL ownership, and detailed journal entries. You will perform reconciliations, intercompany work, and flux analysis while guiding junior staff and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You will research technical accounting issues under U.S. GAAP, prepare audit‑ready documentation, and support the annual financial statement audit and debt‑related reporting. Flexibility to work in a hybrid setting is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related.
• CPA license and public accounting experience preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience and problem solving.
• Experience with GAAP and technical accounting positions.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close and GL ownership duties and journal entries.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and item resolutions.
• Intercompany accounting and consolidation support.
• Flux analysis with leadership commentary.
• Review entries prepared by staff or offshore contractors.
• Research GAAP positions and prepare memos for auditors.
• Support consolidated annual financial statement audit and footnote disclosures.
• Provide debt compliance reporting packages and MD&A schedules.
• Monitor new accounting standards and adoption impacts.
• Utilize Workday ERP for reporting and testing.
