Job summary

Marolina Outdoor, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations in Charleston, SC.

You will oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, AP/AR, and other processes to ensure data integrity and support budgeting and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing monthly statements, maintaining the general ledger, coding invoices, bank reconciliations, and assisting auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least three years of related accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cost accounting and related duties for the organization.
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Maintains the general ledger.
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
• Reconciles bank accounts, deposits, and inquiries from banks.
• Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance and gathers necessary documents for annual audit.
• Files tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
