Job summary

GeoEngineers, Inc. in Redmond, WA seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and GAAP compliance. You will manage month-end close, GL reconciliations, and ASC 606 project revenue recognition, including time-and-expense and percentage-of-completion methods.

You will collaborate with Accounting and projects teams, support tax compliance, and contribute to process improvements while providing reliable financial information to management.

Qualifications

• Proficient in GAAP and corporate tax requirements.
• Experience with project accounting revenue recognition and WIP reporting.
• Experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Ability to perform technical accounting research for complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manages GL accounts, month-end close activities, and reconciliations.
• Supports ASC 606 revenue recognition for projects and time-and-expense methods.
• Records leases (ASC 842) and supports tax compliance with deadlines.
• Assists with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Supports internal and external audits with documentation.
