Fishbowl is seeking a self-motivated Accountant to join our growing Finance team in Utah. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, youll engage in reconciliations, journal entries, payroll support, and ad hoc analysis as part of our accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• 1+ year of hands-on Excel experience in a professional setting.
• 1+ year working with NetSuite and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• 1+ year working with Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, particularly as it relates to revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and review general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and appropriate documentation.
• Apply GAAP principles to revenue recognition processes.
• Calculate and maintain deferred revenue schedules and related balances.
• Manage accounts receivable reconciliation and support billing processes, including invoice generation, payment application, and aging report review.
• Manage expense reimbursements and reconcile company credit cards.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and financial analyses as requested.
• Provide backup support for Payroll and Accounts Payable functions.
• Support additional responsibilities as the team and business evolve.
