Job summary

TSAY FEDERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES LLC is seeking a Sr. Accountant to provide accounting support to the Accounting Manager.

You will record daily, weekly, and monthly activity in accordance with GAAP and TFCS policies, handling general ledger tasks, month-end closings, and account reconciliations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and at least five years of experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with at least five years of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, sumifs, etc.) and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare related party invoices and reconcile related party transactions.
• Assist with month-end financial reports.
• Perform general ledger analysis.
• Assist with year-end audits preparation.
• Review Accounts Payable vouchers.
• Review and post journal entries for accounting staff.
• Handle other duties or special projects as assigned.
