Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of public or private accounting experience.
• Ability to translate accounting standards to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Key participant in the month-end close process.
• Prepare reconciliations of various general ledger accounts.
• Examine month-to-month balance sheet and profit and loss account fluctuations.
• Compile month-to-month and ad-hoc financial reporting for senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit workpapers as requested.
• Evaluate, endorse, and enforce best practices regarding accounting guidelines and processes.
• Research emerging accounting and reporting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Work with the financial reporting team and product management to identify methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and support initiatives to implement improvements.
• Provide training to members of the financial reporting team.
• Assist with documentation and compliance related to SOX
