Integrated Financial Settlements is seeking a Senior Accountant to apply GAAP expertise and public accounting experience in a growing on-site accounting team.

You will drive monthly close, prepare journal entries, and analyze financial statements while collaborating on audits and process improvements. Strong Excel and Dynamics GP experience are valued as the company maintains robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• Requires GAAP knowledge and public accounting background.
• Advanced Excel skills required for complex financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
• Strong grasp of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Drive timely monthly financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Execute month-end close processes and prepare journal entries.
• Compile balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and reports.
• Prepare reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review general ledger activity for proper classifications.
• Stay current on accounting pronouncements and draft memos.
• Collaborate on annual audits with managers and controllers.
• Identify process improvements to optimize resources.
• Maintain controls and segregation of duties.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash forecasting.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
