This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization and contribute to month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a CPA or Masters, a strong GAAP background, and excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with plant personnel and regional management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of accounting experience with CPA/Masters.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Self-starter and able to work independently and in a team.
• Advanced Excel; JD Edwards skills desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and time management ability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide accounting support for regional operations.
• Heavily involved in the month-end close process.
• Prepare and maintain monthly accruals across multiple plant operations.
• Work with plant personnel to ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Work closely with regional management on analysis of operating results.
• Prepare timely and accurate management reporting.
• Reconcile balance accounts.
• Perform standard and ad-hoc analysis.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Provide support related to internal and external audit requests.
• Acquire strong knowledge of the business.
• Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
