Job summary

Fontainebleau Las Vegas seeks a General Ledger Accountant to manage daily accounting entries, prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, and reconcile balance sheets. The role supports month-end close and ensures adherence to internal controls across resort operations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field and at least 6 months in accounting, with strong MS Office and analytical skills. The position is full-time in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting or related field; or equivalent
• Six (6) months experience in an accounting position, preferably for a large-scale, luxury resort
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to analyze data

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely monthly financial statements and support in the month-end close process
• Prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers
• Prepare report packages required internally and externally
• Maintain proper documentation and audit evidence within the department
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Adhere to deadlines and respond efficiently to requests
• Ensure GAAP compliance and consistency across business units
• Assist with financial statement review and KPI-related inquiries
• Promote teamwork and a respectful work environment
• Flexibility to add or modify duties as needed
