Job summary

Aston Carter seeks a Sr. Accountant in Falcon Heights, MN to manage the general ledger, lead month-end and year-end close, and support accurate financial reporting in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You willpartner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and HR to analyze financial information, maintain records, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements through ERP system modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close capabilities.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and Excel-based financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activity, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close for GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Support financial reporting and internal management and external reports as needed.
• Coordinate sales tax filings and oversee AR/AP processes.
• Maintain fixed asset records and support ERP improvements.
