Job summary

NANA Worley, LLC in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, manage general ledger activity, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Under department leadership, you will implement policies, assist with audits, prepare reconciliations, maintain internal controls, and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least five years of accounting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Minimum five years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
High level of integrity and dependability.

Responsibilities

Record monthly transactions in accordance with GAAP and department timelines.
Assist with monthly financial close activities.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain accuracy of all deliverables.
Assist with enhancement of department processes and internal controls.
Assist with year-end audit and preparing supporting documentation.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project initiation and cost allocation.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
