Job summary

UES is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Phoenix, AZ. You will work across multiple areas of accounting and finance, lead month-end close, and support acquisitions and integrations.

The role offers opportunities to influence process improvements and collaborate with business leaders. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, deep knowledge of US GAAP, and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and consolidations.
• CPA preferred, with auditing experience a plus.
• Experience leading month-end and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead key accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Manage multi-entity month-end and year-end close.
• Partner with operations and leadership to drive insights.
• Support acquisitions and integration initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen controls.
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration.
