Job summary

Audacy is hiring a Senior Accountant for a remote role, focusing on quarterly and annual financial statements, lease accounting, and close processes. You’ll work with fixed assets, reconciliations, and external auditors to ensure accuracy and SOX compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, US GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel/ERP experience. Collaboration with partners and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) - General Ledger is preferred.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Experience with Tagetik - Consolidation of financial reporting is preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP.
• 3 or more years of accounting or finance.
• Experience interfacing with internal/external customers.
• Experience in the financial reporting close process.
• Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel is a must).
• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relations.
• Self-starter and strong work ethic.
• Key sklls/attributes: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and accountabilty.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Provide support in the areas of fixed assets, lease accounting, and general accurals.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly reconciliations balance sheet accounts.
• Work with external auditors, provide support documentations and explanations.
• Compile, adjust and evaluate various accurals to ensure their accuracy.
• Research and correct account discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain ongoing communication with business partners.
• Properly execute controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
