Job summary

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day general ledger accounting for diverse properties and to mentor staff accountants. The role involves resolving complex financial issues and driving process improvements across the corporate accounting team.

The position offers full-cycle accounting, analytical support, and modeling services for corporate entities and development communities, with a focus on accuracy and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred, or equivalent.
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and general ledger apps.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret data, build models, and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day full cycle accounting for assigned corporate entities and development communities.
• Maintain monthly workpapers, reconciliations, review GL data and post journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and complete month-end close.
• Assist with investor capital calls and distributions.
• Support year-end audit process and tax projections.
• Prepare payroll-related entries and coordinate with payroll teams.
